
Kevin Koger was born September 2, 1964 in Hamilton, Ohio and adopted by Hugh and Aggie Koger. He departed this life on Thursday, November 20, 2014.
Kevin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology at Miami of Ohio. His work led him to Indianapolis, Indiana. Throughout his career, Kevin was a successful Project Manager in the HVAC industry where he earned the respect of his fellow colleagues.
Kevin was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. He never met a stranger with his kind disposition and willingness to help his fellow neighbors. He had a passion for the outdoors and fishing, and could always be found at the local lake reeling in the big catch. An avid dog lover, Kevin had a soft spot for his beloved Labradors.
Kevin leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Emily Koger, mother, Aggie Koger, brother, David (Amy) Koger, nephew, Will Koger and niece, Mae Koger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Koger (1991) and his sister, Susan (Koger) Combs (1990).
Kevin will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a kind, funny, and gentle person who was a loving, devoted, and proud dad.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be from 1-3pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 followed immediately with a Memorial Service at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, located at 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Tri-State Parkinson’s Wellness Chapter at www.parkinsonswellness.org or to the American Heart Association at heart.org.
